Our mooring whips are constructed of solid fiberglass and are tapered to deliver a progressive loading of torque as pressure is applied to the moored boat.
We have designed the fiberglass/resin composition of our mooring whip to provide the optimum bending strength for the application of mooring your boat. Our solid rod construction and optimum taper design does not have the buckling problems often associated with whips made from a combination of tubes and rods.
